Dr. Wockenfus treats over 2800 patients from 10 different cities, traveling as far as 150 miles. Dr. Wockenfus is the CEO of Mid-Valley Dental, bringing over 20 years of dental experience to the Fox Valley. He has Bachelors of Science degrees in Microbiology and Chemistry from UW-Lacrosse and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Marquette University in Milwaukee. Following graduation, Dr. Wockenfus was chosen to train at Zablocki Veterans Hospital and gained even more experience working with specialists in oral surgery, endodontic, prosthodontic, and restorative dentistry. He remains devoted to dentistry and his patients by continuing his education.
Dr. Wockenfuss' most recent accomplishment includes completing training for Gum Rejuvenation by John Chao, DDS, MADG in Alhambra, CA. Dr. Wockenfus also completed training provided by one of the most noted dental educators in the world, Dr. Frank Spear. Spear Education is a training program that features lectures and hands-on courses to provide the highest level of dental education in restorative and aesthetic dentistry. Dr. Wockenfus is now mentoring future dental students in their effort to achieve mastery level clinical and technical skills at the Tri-County Community Dental Clinic.
